General conditions
Dark & Light accepts proposals from local NGO’s working in our countries of operation:
- Afghanistan
- Bangladesh
- Cambodia
- Ethiopia
- Indonesia
- Nepal
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- Philippines
- Sudan
- Tanzania
We have a three step process of review of project proposals
The first step is to scan the proposal based on a list of constraints:
- The project meets Dark & Light's mission, country policy and sectoral policy
- The partner organisation has a legal status and an organisation bank account
- Objectives, results, activities and means are presented in a project proposal
- The application reflects the size and capacities of the partner organisation & staff
- Financial administrative procedures are in place
If one of the constraints is not met, the proposal will not be considered for financial assistance. This also means that if your project is run in another country than in the list above, your project will not be selected for the next round.
The second step is to review the proposal based on an internal set of criteria for quality and sustainability.
After this review the proposal will be submitted to an internal project committee. This project committee will decide on financial assistance (third step).
After the meeting of this project committee we will let you know whether there is a possibility for a partnership.
If you are interested to work with Dark & Light, we advise you to check the list of constraints above.
If your organisation meets the constraints you can contact the project staff to request for a project application form. |
