Organisation mission statement
To enhance coordination and networking based on communio between member's unit and PERDHAKI's Regional .

Target group 

  • 14 hospitals on providing primary eye care services, eye examination school children, cataract operation and optic shop services sustainably.
  • 5 hospitals which conduct cataract surgery on improving quality of visual outcome of cataract surgery service.
  • 3 eye post on developing kind of eye care services in remote area.
  • 2 region on focusing on local community empowerment.

Project purpose
With this project we want to reach the poor people who blind by cataract can see and productive again; for school children can get better sight for better education.
Through this project, people who have eye diseases in the remote place will get access to get eye service.
On the long term planning, the hospitals can run the eye care program continuously and self-ability.

Targets Description

  • 1,500 cataract patient got cataract surgery.
  • 500 pterygium patient got pterygium surgery.
  • 500 poor people got subsidy glasses especially for students.
  • 1 regional workshop about quality of visual outcome of cataract surgery.
  • 3 subregional workshops about service sustainability are conducted.
  • 30,000 patients got access eye care services. (inpatient and outpatient)
  • 40,000 student got vision test at school.
  • 2 hospital staff have been studying to be refractionist for 3 rd year.
  • 6 eye post's staff got on job training as local eye nurse.
  • 375 local people from parishes/ villages are empowered as a motivator eye health by simple training.
