Organisation mission statement
(1) To reduce the impact of blindness through rehabilitation; (2) To improve the visually impaired potency
through education and training; (3) To open up job opportunity for the visually impaired through job diversification
and job placement; (4) To develop necessary expertise and assistive devices through researches; (5) To build the
capacity of other service providers by disseminating expertise and distributing products; (6) To do advocacy in
order to encourage the realization of inclusive society that accommodates all kinds of differences

Targets Description 

• 2,280 Reading hours of digital talking book masters of textbooks and other books that are burned in 300 CD
  masters will be produced in 2010.
• 12,600 CD-copies of digital talking books of textbooks and other books that are copied from 300 CD masters will be produced in 2010.
• 68,035 Braille pages of soft-file masters of textbooks and other books (61.850 Braille pages) and of on-demand
  materials 6.185 Braille pages) will be produced in 2010.
• 3,381 Braille book volumes containing 247.400 print-Braille pages of textbooks and other books and 6.185 print-Braille pages of on-demand materials tbat are embossed from the above soft-file masters will be produced in
• 36 Titles of available analog talking books masters which are still up-to-date/suitable will be transferred into
  digital talking book format in 2010.

• 75 Doing presentation to selected schools.
• 1 Developing donor database system.
• 30 Identifying prospective institutional donors.
• 40 Doing presentation to group of community in society.
• 30 Doing presentation to institutional donors company.
