Targets Description

• 1000 sight restoring and preserving surgeries are performed by the end of the year, 500 of these are subsidised.
• 4 Resident doctors acquire district level experience at a district eye hospital providing community service.
• Tertiary eye unit is developed for comprehensive eye care service.
• Train one Ophthamologist in Glaucoma sub-specialty.
• Train one ophthalmologist in Vitreoretinal surgery.
• Develop one eye unit in a comprehensive health centre.
