Organisation mission statement Establish extensive eye care network throughout the country to make comprehensive eye care services accessible to all.
Target group Reach to unreached, especially vulnerable and marginalised people deprived from existing eye care service of the country.
Project purpose The main purpose of this project is to estblish quality assurance system with valid monitroing indicators in ongoing eye care programme of the country. After completion of the project period, we expect all eye hospital service delivery system are under strickt surveillance. The monitoring body is establised and qualty of service delivered is closely monitored with valid indicator and prescribed service delivery guidelines and protocols.
Targets Description
- 2 At the end of this year two more eye hospitals will have computer based medical registration software
installed to create a platform for research and monitoring work at hospital.
- 6 Annual maintenance check of the installed IHMS software will be conducted in 6 eye hospitals
- 4 Four monitoring visits will be made by monitoring department to different eye hospitals of the country and
generates the scientific report on impact of eye care services in repective targetted area
- 1 One annual workshop will be conducted to discuss and plan the quality assurance system in ongoing eye
care programme.
- 1 One person will participate in international conference (ISGEO) with Nepal data on service impact of the
current eye care programme of the country.
