Organisation mission statement
Establish extensive eye care network throughout the country to make comprehensive eye care services
accessible to all.

Target group
The intended beneficiary of this project are the people with visually impaired due to incurable ophthalmic conditions (by birth or acquired). The total population of the target area is about 20 million (in all 13 out of 14 zones of the country) and among them, number of people with low vision is estimated at about 200,000. Since there is already WHO sponsored Low vision Programme in Kathmandu, Bagmati Zone is excluded from the target population.
