Organisation mission statement
Improve the living standards of blind and disabled people in Nepal and promote in integration in society.

Target group
Blind, Deaf, Disabled and Disadvantages people and their fimily member. A person with blind & disability must learn to cope with society as a whole, as does everybody else, with regard to tradition, culture and creed. This person must also learn to accept and live with their blindness & disability, in order to and to accept the fact that society will view a blind & disabled person as rather than a person, able to manage for themselves. In order to achieve a sustainable life, persons with blindness & disabilities must have access to basic as well as advanced trainings. Otherwise they, too, may be marginalized and cut off from gainful employment.

  • Computer Training: The number of beneficiaries will be 118 (75 visually impaired, 30 physical disabled, 5 slow learner and 8 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 63 and 55 respectively.
  • English Language: The number of beneficiaries will be 52 (31 visually impaired, 14 physical disabled, 2 slow learner and 5 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 28 and 24 respectively.
  • Office Management: The number of beneficiaries will be 52 (30 visually impaired, 14 physical disabled, 2 slow learner and 6 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 28 and 24 respectively.
  • Chalk & Candle Making: The number of beneficiaries will be 64 (44 visually impaired, 14 physical disabled, 3 slow learner and 3 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 34 and 30 respectively.
  • Art & Clay Work and Incense Making Training: The number of beneficiaries will be 30 (17 visually impaired, 8 physical disabled, 2 slow learner and 3 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 16 and 14 respectively.
  • Music Training: The number of beneficiaries will be 78 (54 visually impaired, 19 physical disabled, 3 slow learner and 2 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 39 and 35 respectively.
  • Knitting Training: The number of beneficiaries will be 52 (35 visually impaired, 12 physical disabled, 2 slow learner and 3 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 28 and 24 respectively.
  • Mobile Repair Training: The number of beneficiaries will be 22 (14 visually impaired, 5 physical disabled, 1 slow learner and 2 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 12 and 10 respectively.
  • Tailoring Training: The number of beneficiaries will be 12 (6 visually impaired, 3 physical disabled, 1 slow learner and 2 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 4 and 8 respectively.
    Showroom: The number of beneficiaries will be all the students & ex-students of centre.
  • Management Expenses: Centre's all 14 trainings and supportive activities.
  • Weaving: : The number of beneficiaries will be 40 (24 visually impaired, 10 physical disabled, 3 slow learner and 3 disadvantage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 16 and 24 respectively.
  • Early Intervention Course: The number of beneficiaries will be 25 (23 visually impaired children, 2 physical disabled children) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 13 and 12 respectively.
    Internship Occupational Rehabilitation: The number of beneficiaries will be 34 ex-students (21 visually impaired, 8 physical disabled, 2 slow learner and 3 disadvanatage) and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 19 and 15 respectively.
  • Embroidery: The number of beneficiaries will be 12 (6 visually impaired, 3 physical disabled, 1 slow learner and 2 disadvantage)

Project purpose
Students are become skilled manpower and able to work/job in workshop/office and same number of families will also benefit. Male and Female will be 4 and 8 respectively.

Targets Description

  • 207 Visually impaired students from different part of Nepal will successfully complete trainings. 155 students are
    able to work/job in workshop/office from 2011.
  • 106 Physical disabled students from different part of Nepal will successfully complete trainings. 86 students are
    able to work/job in workshop/office from 2011.
  • 12 Slow Learner students from different part of Nepal will successfully complete trainings. 8 students are able
    to work/job in workshop/office from 2011.
  • 20 Disadvantage students from different part of Nepal will successfully complete trainings. 18 students are able
    to work/job in workshop/office from 2011.
  • 349 Household relies that blindness, disability are not a punishment for bad behaviors in a previous life and aware
    about blind have potentials ability to learn skill trainings. Number of students have been increase 10% in
    year 2011.
  • 4 Teachers get advance computer, english, chalk & candle and knitting training and learn how to handle blind &
    disabled students. Increase the quality of training in project year 2011.
  • 591 training courses are provided to the above mentioned students in the year 2010
  • 25 young children with a visual (23) or physical impairment (2) will succesfully complete the early intervention
    course. 5 students will be able to go to primary school and successful integration into society and household
    from 2011.
